5 Tips For Zombie Proofing Your Home

Installing Zombie Proof Doors - Not all doors are the same. Zombies can easily bust down wooden doors, so upgrading to stainless-steel may be the wise choice. Zombies have deteriorating body parts, so they aren't as strong as you and I but if you want to add some extra security, purchase a barricade lock out device to hold them off for good!

Upgrade Your Windows - If your home is equipped with single pain glass windows, you are in some serious trouble. I know what you're thinking though... but I can just board them up. Like I mentioned about, Zombies can bust through wood pretty easily, so why take the chance. Go ahead and upgrade to some security bars making it impossible for them to gain entry into your house.

Property Fence - Okay. I am sure you have a typical fence around your property but that won't stop a Zombie Apocalypse. You should really consider an electrical fence to secure your property and hey, if you can get your hands on it, nothing wrong with a few land mines.

Move Upstairs - Now this is only for those that live in a two story home. If you don't, looks like you are more likely to be eaten by a Zombie. Move upstairs and dismantle the staircase. Zombies are not rock climbers, so you are safe if you are high off the ground. You need to be prepared though, so make sure to have a telescoping aluminum portable ladder on hand. This is a lightweight solution to getting up and down when you need supplies from the kitchen.

Stock Up On Emergency Food - This is a no-brainer and should already be prepared. If not, be sure to pick up some emergency food supplies because who knows how long you will be held up in your home. You need to stay alert and energetic, so don't forget to eat your protein and stay hydrated.
